Battery temperature monitoring
Temperature monitoring in heating verticals is taking place to be able to evaluate quality and quantity of battery heating. Routine measurements provide the way for continuous correction of heat consumption.
Temperatures are measured by battery staff with optical pyrometer. Measured temperatures are stored in portable storage device and transfered to operator station later.
Battery temperature monitoring subsytem provides the following main routine measurements:
- along the battery by pusher and coke sides;
- in border verticals by both sides along the battery;
- in all verticals along heating walls.
The subsytem calculates the following figures to evaluate battery temperature conditions:
- average temperature in control verticals by side along the battery for single measurement series, day;
- number of deviations of average temperatures from set temperature for measurement series, shift, day;
- average temperature for measurement series in border verticals along the battery by both sides;
- average temperature in verticals with the same number for heating wall group (tens);
- average temperature in verticals with the same number for all heating wall groups;
- average temperature in all verticals of the same heating wall;
- average temperature in all verticals of the same heating wall group;
- average temperature in all verticals of the battery.
